Our Jarvis Jive: 5 Months. :)

This cutie pie is 5 months as of August 21st. :)

He is so happy, and we love him so much.
He weighs about 17 lbs this month and his 3-6 month and 6 month clothes are getting too small, he fits more comfortably in 12 month.
He can grab everything now. He loves to play with his toys and his coordination is so good now!
He loves to grab his toes and play with them or suck on them.
I'm pretty sure he's teething, so he likes to gum just one of his fingers, it's really cute. :)
He started sleeping better again. I'm thinking he had that 4 month sleep regression thing going on and it finally passed.
He goes to sleep around 8 PM and sleeps until about 7 AM, I think he's been nursing once or twice a night. He has gone 7 hours between nursing, but I'm not sure how regular that is. It's hard to pay attention in the middle of the night, lol. He also naps about twice a day, sometimes three times if his afternoon nap is short, so once in the morning from about 10-11, then in the afternoon from around 1-5.
He can roll over from belly to back and back to belly really well now! He loves to lay on his belly and play with his toys and roll around. He moves all over, I have to really watch him now. He also loves his bouncy chair and kicks to make it bounce. He LOVES to bounce. If you are holding him, he wants to stand up and bounce, which makes for a great arm workout. Actually, he was in his bouncy chair, and I haven't had to buckle him in yet...I left the room for a second to help Beckham and I came back and he was out of his chair and on the floor on his belly!! :O He wasn't crying or anything, he was grunting like he was a little mad, but he bounced right out! ...I now buckle him.
HE LOVES HIS BATHS. My heavens. I'm taking a video of him next time, but I put him in his little tub and he immediately starts kicking those cute chubby legs. I'm being completely serious when I tell you that he kicks so much that there's no water left by the time we are done. It's so fun. :)
His hair has grown a LOT in the last month, and it's so fuzzy! It sticks straight up! lol.
He has also started to really laugh, that deep baby chuckle that I just love. He loves when you blow with your tongue, or nuzzle his neck and belly. He will put his hands on your face and laugh. :)
He loves to play in his saucer with toys all around it, he will play in there for a long time! I can usually finish an entire 30 minute workout, or make dinner and he will be happy in there (probably because he can bounce). lol.
If you talk and smile at him he gives these big grins, then nuzzles me like he's shy, it is so cute.
He went through a few weeks where he hated riding in the car, but he's been doing so good now! He hasn't even fussed. I think part of it is that he can really play with toys now and it helps entertain him.
He started blowing bubbles and his little coos have changed a little bit this month!
