4 Months!! :)

This Lil Peach is 4 months!! Gosh, we love her.

Her personality is starting to show so much, and we love it! We heard our first, sweet baby giggles this month! I knew she was close to laughing for a few weeks, and I was working so hard to get her to laugh, and then one night Bridger was being silly and she was just laughing and laughing, over and over. If I snuggle her neck or belly she will laugh a little bit, but you really have to work for those giggles! :) She gives the biggest, sweetest baby grins and her eyes literally sparkle. She has definitely developed her little voice this past month, she went from cooing to doing this little growly voice all the time, and she will sometimes do this loud yell-like growl all of a sudden if she isn't happy about something, lolol. She started fighting sleep really bad at the beginning of the month, she would move her head back and forth on the bed to stay awake, or scream if I tried to cradle her in my arms. She just always wants to be looking over mine or Jeremy's shoulder! Her brothers LOVE to play and talk with her, in the morning they love to come chat...and the rest of the day, too! lol! She loves to play on the floor with toys, she can hold them so well! She is the noisiest little nurser, and she rubs her tiny hand up and down my arm so gentle, then she'll rub her eyes, and then rub my arm, it is so sweet. She also likes to tuck her tiny feet into my legs while she nurses (we nurse laying down together 95% of the time). Nursing our babies has been one of my most favorite things in the world. She is SO sweet, we love her so much, and are so grateful for this little sweetie muffin.

At 4 months:

  • She is wearing 2-4 or 3-6 month clothes, depending on the brand.
  • She nurses about every 2-3 hours now. She wiggles everywhere when she’s nursing now so she can stay awake! Lol. She rubs her hand back and forth on my arm, grabs my FitBit, kicks her tiny legs against mine and pushes on me, and rubs her little eyes and ears.
  • She has started this new sound, she kind of growls, lol, it’s so cute. And if she doesn’t like something she will do this little squawk. It is so funny. She loves to chat and coo with us, and she gives us the biggest smiles, I love it.
  • She rolls from tummy to back SO good. Every time we do tummy time she just rolls over. She really loves to play under the swinging toys we have, she bats at them like a pro! I put the newborn level on our pack n’ play and then put that toy in there so it keeps her up and off the floor with all her busy brothers running around, lol. They like to peek in and chat with her. :)
  • She started fighting sleep like crazy about two weeks ago again. But she sleeps pretty good once she’s asleep for the night.
  • She goes to bed between 7-9, she’ll usually nurse around midnight because she gets woken up when we go to bed, and then she’ll usually sleep until around 4, nurse again, sleep until 7, nurse again and then get up around 8-8:30. So she’s nursing a couple times a night, but last night she went from 8:30-5:40 without nursing! She is getting more of a schedule the last couple weeks, she takes a pretty short morning nap, stays awake for 1-2 hours, then takes a long afternoon nap, stays awake for a couple hours in the evening and then goes to bed.
  • She LOVES to stretch. Every time she wakes up she stretches her little arms and legs out as far as they will go, with her little feet flexed and her little hands in tiny fists, it’s so cute I can hardly handle it. Then she’ll give me these sweet, sleepy grins and it melts my heart.
  • She is super strong! She loves to hold rattles and small toys now, she can bring them to her mouth to suck on them. She also loves to stand up when I’m holding her in my lap, her little legs get tired pretty quick, but she’s doing so good!

Bridger decided to join us for some of her pictures. :)
