Garbage Day.

Garbage day always gets us. Ok, not always, but today it did.

This morning. 7:25 AM.

I'm sleeping. Jeremy's sleeping.

7:26 AM.

Jeremy sits up all of a sudden. "Is the garbage truck on our street??!!"

Me still half asleep. "Maybe. Don't worry about it." But I could hear it really close outside our window.

Jeremy. "Nooooooo! It's FULL!!!" (he was being slightly OCD, I think). At this point he flew out of bed and charged downstairs, attempting to get the can to the curb before the truck passed our house. Might I add he was wearing some awesome pj's and was barefoot. baha.

I just laid there, wide awake at this point. Laughing my head off in bed as I listened to him basically jump the whole staircase and bang through the back door like it was life or death. I heard the trash can flying down our sidewalk and then it stopped. So I figured he'd made it. But no.

Because guess what. He hid behind the side of the house.

He saw our neighbor outside doing the same thing, the truck had already passed both our houses, but she was crossing the road to put it on the other side and Jeremy didn't want to be seen. He finally just grabbed the can and started pulling it across the wet grass, closer to the curb. And then they both just stood there and stared at the truck, like it was all over, watching him pick up the next neighbors trash.

baha. I'm still laughing out loud over this.

So, the garbage man sees Jeremy (probably looking quite pitiful and distressed over missing trash day) and reverses and ends up getting Amanda's trash too. Then he kept going down the street. So, thank you, Garbage man, for saving the day.

Jeremy is quite serious about his husbandly duties, if you couldn't tell. When he came back upstairs, I couldn't stop laughing at him. He's too awesome.

Can you imagine this in your head? What in the world do our neighbors think now? What would you think if you saw Jeremy come flying out of his house in bright blue, button up, plaid pajamas and bare feet, grabbing the trash can and running through the soggy grass with it like it was the end of the world?

I don't know what I'd think. But I told Jeremy I'd remember this until we were 85 or 100.

I love him forever. :)

(I bet you are all jealous that you aren't our neighbors, huh?) ;) jk.

Temple. Pics. 19 months. :)

Jeremy and I set a goal to up our temple attendance by like...a lot. Our babysitter, Brianna, moved away and so it's been a little harder, but we are making it work. We actually talked to some really good friends of ours who live across the street and we are going to start doing a switch. So they will watch Bridger one week, then we'll watch their two girls the next. I hope it works out! :) Anyway, a few weeks ago we couldn't get a babysitter, so we decided to take Bridger with us up to Temple Square. It was so fun. :) We walked around the mall too, and ended it all with a huge delicious cinnamon roll from Kneaders. My mouth waters just thinking about it. mm. mm. mmm. We got tons of pictures from the temple too...

baha. His cute little face. "I have a secret..."

Check out those eyebrows! Totally Jeremy. 100%.

Can you tell that he just loves me?

Serious...nerds. :)

We went down to Hurricane a couple weeks ago and Jeremy and I went on a double date with my best friend Emily and her husband Ben. I missed that girl. It's crazy though, how you find that one friend, and no matter how long it's been since you talked you still know they are your best friend, and when you get together it seems like you never stopped hanging out. That's how it is with us. If you didn't know, Emily and I actually hated each other when we first met. yep. It's true. She thought I was stuck up and I thought she was a big huge nerd who thought she was so cool wearing her converse in band class. We ended up being on track together with Salyce, who was one of my best friends at the time and who Emily was friends with as well. The three of us started hanging out all the time, after Salyce died is when Emily and I became unbreakable. Emily is the one who made my senior year of high school bearable, actually. And after we graduated we rented an apartment with my (at the time) future sister-in-law, Marisa. We had SO much fun. All the time. When I started getting serious with Jeremy we had our rough moments, but we made it. Now that we are both married it's even more fun to hang out. Anyway, I love her forever. Ha ha. :)

Moving on. I'm am sort of an adrenaline junkie, so if you put me in an amusement park I will go all. day. long. I love it! I'm so glad my husband does too, like I said, we were made for each other. :) We went to Lagoon with my family last Monday, my parents offered to watch Bridger and his cousins while us couples went out and rode some roller coasters together for a while. Just thinking about some of those rides makes me smile, especially screaming my head off next to my husband while we fly through the air. How romantic, isn't it? ;) ha. It is to me. Somehow. We rode most of the rides, and we also did the race track thing where you drive the little cars...you know? Well, I didn't want to drive so I bought a "passenger" ticket and sat with Jeremy...after squishing in with him, I was sure we were going to lose, I realized those "passenger" tickets were probably for like FIVE year olds with the hip space we had. And I thought with the extra weight in our car we would be putting in at last place. But guess WHAT. We did awesome. We were flyin', kicking everyones butts and I was screaming and partying in the car as we passed people, then...this girl cheated and rammed us into the side and we got stuck. and lost. Even after we got unstuck she kept trying to ram us...which was against the rules...as if she didn't see the 25,000 signs that declared "NO BUMPING." Can you tell I'm still a little upset? gosh.

Since most of you will never experience a roller coaster ride with Jeremy and I, here is how it goes.

We stand in line and I freak out, mildly. Adrenaline already pumping as I clutch Jeremy's arm, he's usually just chilling.

We get up to the ride and sit in our seats and I'm taking deep breaths trying to calm myself down.

We pull the shoulder and lap bars over us and the workers come and yank on them to make sure they are locked. But after they leave I sit there and yank on it 25 more times to make sure it's really locked. Then I start pulling on Jeremy's too. Paranoid that it's still loose and we might fall out. Jeremy is just chuckling as I tell him to put his head back against the seat.

The ride starts and pauses, getting ready to go and I'm sitting there, grabbing my seat "oh my gosh. aaaahhhhhh. I can't believe I'm doing this. oh my gosh....etc etc." Jeremy is still chilling.

The ride starts for real and we start flying, I scream my head off for like five seconds on the scariest parts. Here is Jeremy (screaming): "THIS IS SUICIDE PREVENTION!!!!!!!" (on the Rocket, Re-Entry. You'll know what he's talkin about if you've been on that one) or, he's making pretend barfing sounds so people will think they are going to get hit. Or he yells a bunch of other ridiculous stuff, making me laugh so hard I can't scream.

So, there you go. If you ever want to come to Lagoon with us, feel free. I'm sure we'll entertain you. :)

We went on the river rapids with my mom, Jarom and Marisa and Jen and Cade all in one big tube floating down the river. None of us really wanted to get wet so when water started splashing up and our tube started going a little crazy, my mom freaked out and stood up, screaming! Bahaha. I was laughing SO hard. Marisa started standing up too, and I was sure they were both going to tumble out. It was hilarious. All that along with Cade's faces...I just about peed my pants.

Jeremy and I also went on the ferris wheel and made out. (JK!) Then we went back on the rocket to finish the night off.

Bridger really loved the water park that we spent a couple hours at before we went on rides, he mostly chilled with grandma and grandpa, napped, and ate some yummy food.

What a fun day. :) ha ha.

I only got a few pictures. :P It was too crazy!

My independent little adventure boy.

My hott sexy husband.

My mom and Bri stayed up here with us for the rest of the week and it was so nice! We went out to lunch and school shopping for our nieces and nephews, which was a blast, and made some delicious dinners. I was sad they had to go home. :(

One last thing...I bought Bridger a littly potty when he was about 15 months old and he peed in it a few times the first couple days we had it...randomly I would have him use it. Now that he's 19 months I've been having him use it more, he's doing really good (he'd do better if I were more motivated ha ha) he pees in it about once a day...sometimes four times a day! I've been teaching him how to pull his pants up and down and he has even held his pee long enough to get to the toilet. I'm so proud of him. This has all been really gradual, I think he'll start using it more when he feels more ready, but right now he doesn't mind it a few times a day, so I encourage him. I'm hoping he'll be potty trained before two. We'll see. :)

I could kiss his cute face every second of my life. That's one version of his kissing lips... :) btw. This is now one of my favorite pictures of him.

The potty seat was clean. Don't worry. ha ha. :)

Almost everyone we meet, or sit in front of in church, or see in the grocery store...tells me how cute he is and what a character he is...and it's SO true! This boy has so much personality, he's so silly. I love it. :)

I think that sums up the last month. ha ha. :)

I love my husband.

Here are a few other random pics...

He's eating a french toast muffin. He loves them, can you tell by the way he's trying to shove the whole thing in his mouth??

mm. That must have been a good bite.

Our son has some of THE best bed hair of all time. Who has more awesome bed hair than that?? I love it.

My boys drawing. :)

:) I love them.
