Keep on rollin little boy.

For those of you who have kids or babies, have you ever had random freak out in your head moments because you realize your baby is growing too fast? Well I had one of those when I saw this!! (He is six weeks in this movie).

Bridger was only FIVE weeks to the day when he rolled over for the first time. In my head I was like, no...that's just a fluke, five week old babies don't roll over...he's still my adorable, yummy newborn. But then...he did it again!! It was so cute, I think he was surprised that he did it, it was all of a sudden and really fast. He probably didn't know what the heck happened from the look on his face...he had been fussing a little and then rolled over really fast and was suddenly silent and looking around with huge eyes and this surprised look on his face. Me and Jeremy were so surprised that we just started laughing and tried to get him to do it again. We soon found out that our little boy could roll over whenever he felt like it and that it definitely was not a fluke that first time. My mom and I agree that this little boy's spirit is too big for his little body and he wants to get movin. For example, he has to be held in the "chair" position in your arms so that he can see everything, he will cry if you don't do it. really. He also likes to sit up (with help of course, we just hold his arms and let him do the rest) so he can look around. You know what's funny is that my mom says I was the same way, always wanting to get movin and grow up. Gosh dang me for passing on that trait, my baby is already growing up too fast. :p At the same time though, it's really really fun to see the new things he is learning and I love it, I already am looking forward to the new things he will be doing in the next few months! Anyway, Bridger is 7 weeks and 3 three days today. As the doctor put it at his last appointment, "he's really chunkin up" ha ha, he really is, he was 11.9 pounds at six weeks which means he gained about a pound a week from his two week appointment to six weeks. holy moly. He sure wears me and Jeremy out but he is so worth it. When he smiles and talks to us I just feel this pure joy in my soul and I can't get enough of him. Babies are just the bomb.

Sweet...what? What did you just say?

Jeremy and I know this awesome girl named Tadja and we were visiting her and her parents a few days ago...anyway, while we were there I was reminded of this experience that happened...

One morning (only like a month after getting married), me and Jeremy were sleeping in, he woke up first and was just laying there and when I finally woke up he says so sweetly... "good morning sweetchunks." Ok. stop. right. there. SWEETCHUNKS??!! What new bride wants to hear "good morning SWEETCHUNKS?" Before getting married I imagined maybe a, "good morning sexy wife of mine" (I realize that the morning hours are not my sexiest moments but i'm still waiting to hear this.) or maybe a, "good morning love of my life" or something to that effect, but no, I get a "good morning sweetchunks..." Ok. Back to the story. So, as I opened my eyes and tried to wake up all the way, I hear this well meant good morning message and have to take a second to think about what he said...then I was like, "what did you just call me...?" Then I just started laughing and couldn't stop, he told me he was trying to say sweetheart but it came out wrong. (should I believe him...? where did the chunks part come from...?) and apologized. Needless to say, he's so cute that I can never be mad at him (for very long ;) ha ha), and we now call each other sweetchunks on occasion. :)
