7...8...9...10... :)

It is getting harder...and harder...and harder to take Bridger's pictures! The little stinker won't stay on the blanket long enough for me to get one of him smiling. He has so much energy and always has somewhere to be...besides taking pictures. :) Anyway, here are his 7, 8, 9, and 10 month pictures...

 7 months...I love this one...

8 months...after trying and trying to get a picture of him laying down, I was just happy to get one with the fabric in it...he wouldn't cooperate...

9 months...he wasn't all that happy that morning ha ha, as you can see. He's just chill.

10 months and 4 days old...that's today. :) What a cutie.

So why I am I so paranoid about getting a picture of him on a piece of fabric every month you may be wondering. Well, I picked out 12 pieces of fabric to make a quilt with, every month I am using a piece of that soon-to-be quilt to take a picture marking the milestone of his next month, at twelve months I will take all that fabric and I am making a quilt for him to "remember" his first year with. I am hoping to get it done by his first birthday party so I can base his party around it...um, yes, I am already planning his party ha ha. :) I know what I am going to do, I just need to finalize some details and start workin on it. I am still having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that he really is going to be ONE in only two months...it feels like I just had him...I love him. :) forever.

At 10 months Bridger has almost four teeth, his two front bottom ones are pretty much all the way in, the right-middle top one poked through about two days ago, and the left-middle top one poked through yesterday! He loves grilled cheese, rice rusks, chicken, cooked carrots, and baby snacks of all kinds. His favorite toys and places to play are the bathroom (yuck.), the pantry, he loves cell phones, he loves to watch the washer and dryer (we have front loaders), car keys, remote controls, paper of any kind and a lot of other things ha ha. He loves to play the piano with his daddy and absolutely LOVES his baths, while the water is pouring in the tub he stands up at the side and bounces and squeals until he gets in, then he splashes and crawls around like crazy, it's so cute. :) He took his first step a day or two before he turned 10 months, and hasn't done it again but he loves walking around with his walker toy. He hardly cries at all when I put him in his crib to sleep, as long as he has nursed first. That's a huge milestone for our little family...we are still working on sleeping longer at night, he goes to sleep at about 7 and sleeps until 1 or 2 (when he's not teething...) which is about 6-7 hours, it's not too bad, but I think maybe he could go longer. :) He loves to play ball with us, we pass it back and forth, and he can drink out of a cup by himself now. He doesn't feed himself yet, but he is learning to put the spoon in his mouth, which is pretty good, I am not too worried about it ha ha. When we have sat down and played with him he has matched up a circle block and put it in the "circle spot" or the square block in the "square spot" and put in a puzzle piece. Which could have been coincidence...except he did it twice...and then kept trying to do it again. So we will see...anyway, daylight savings totally messed up our wonderful schedule. I guess it's not totally messed up, everything is just an hour different, so instead of him going to bed at 7:30 or 8 he goes to sleep at 7 (which is pushin it) and wakes up at the crack of dawn!! BAH!! This is what's killing me...6 AM everyone. yep. Every morning so far. He used to get up around 7 or 7:30...now it's six. help! I force him to cuddle with me for like an hour and try to feed him to sleep again (ha ha I am terrible...) but it just doesn't work dangit. Oh well.

Along with plan and get this party & quilt ready (by January), I am finishing up this semester of school, still have to sew a bridesmaids dress for my friends wedding in January, and still get to be a mom. :) Things are usually pretty crazy in the Jarvis household. I love it love it love it. (maybe if I say it enough I will start to believe it... ;) ) ha ha.

1st Halloween! :)

So Bridger had his very 1st Halloween (although, I think Jeremy and I had more fun than he did...) We all dressed up as pirates, and I am proud to say that I actually sewed (is sewed a word??) mine and Bridger's vests and belts...well, half of mine. Ha ha, I ran out of bobbin thread and couldn't figure out how to rethread it...so...that was the end of the sewing experience and I went with a half-frayed and half-unsewn belt. :) I couldn't decide if I looked more like a hooker or a pirate though.. :s ha ha! Maybe a mixture? I don't know, who cares. Anyway, Jeremy grew out his beard and mustache and Bridger did too (I LOVED that he had a cute little mustache and goatee) Bridger also got his ear pierced. (not). Good thing he's a boy because he would not leave that dang earing alone! He finally forgot about it and kept it on, along with his little bandana but it took some serious distraction. sheesh. We took him trick-or-treating down in Hurricane with my parents and my sister Jen's family (we couldn't really go alone with a 9 month old you know??) He had a cute little pumpkin bucket that Bridger *cough*Jeremy*cough* used to get candy in...we really did do it for Bridger. (not. again. Bridger didn't even get one piece.) Oh yeah, we also carved Bridger's 1st pumpkin. :) It was fun, it has two little teeth, just like Bridger. ha ha. :) Jeremy cut the top off and we let Bridger play in it, he was pretty hesitant at first because usually he doesn't just get to get dirty and make a mess, plus, it was super slimy and weird. I had to like push his little hand around in it to get him to play with it, he ended up liking the part we cut off the top better than the actual pumkin and just played with it til it was time for a bath! :)

No, I did not string pumpkin all over him because he wouldn't play in it...*cough*

This is our first picture of him standing up! We finally caught him! :)

Cute. :)

A little grossed out.

We ALWAYS make and decorate Halloween cookies. :) I love it.

Us as pirates, yes, Bridger has facial hair, and yes, that is Jeremy's real chest hair. He is so sexy. I always tell him that real men have hair. He calls himself Wolverine...maybe that's what he can be next year...? Anyway, moving on...

I don't know what's going on here, I think maybe Jeremy is cleaning his teeth? ha ha.
But there's Bridger's finished pumpkin. :)

One more thing...Bridger took his first step yesterday!!! :) He has been so close...for like a month. Yep. Maybe even a month and a half. He stands up alone all the time-when he forgets that he's standing by himself, but when he remembers he sits down immediately. (I am afraid that he has gotten my "thinking too hard" genes) Anyway, Jeremy came home from work and he was standing with one hand holding on to my leg while I was sitting down, Jeremy was like "come to daddy...come here buddy, come to daddy..." and Bridger started walking toward him (still with one hand holding my leg) then...HE LET GO!! :) He took his first step toward his daddy, then he got scared, but he still took that first step! :) I love my boys. So much. They are the best ever. Seriously. Bridger turns 10 months on November 4th...double digit months! :)) :(( I am enjoying this 9 month stage as long as I can. Time goes too fast...I was talking with my sister Marisa about when Bridger was first born, basically, he was like the most demanding baby of all time (besides me, which is where he got it), he was so demanding that Jeremy didn't want any more kids. He was very fussy and very high-maintenance and I used to get so emotionally worn out that by the end of the day that I would be in tears. It was hard. I think that period of time helps me appreciate how good he is now, I always loved him no matter what but it's nice to be able to enjoy his little personality now. As he got older he started to calm down, around four months he was able to communicate better and started to learn to move more and since then he has been such an awesome little baby! I truly believe that he was just frustrated those first few months, he is really smart and from the moment he was born he was alert, looking around, and holding his head up. He always had to be held facing outward like he couldn't miss anything. Once he could start to sit up and babble he got so happy! He is so good. He has SO much personality and is so silly sometimes, I love it. We love him so much, I can't even describe my feelings, but I sure love being his mommy. :)

P.s.-We took family pictures a couple weeks ago and as soon as I get them I will post them, I can't wait to see how they turned out! :)
