Vacation. :)

The week we got our house all organized and packed for showings we headed to the Hilton for a few nights, then went up to Midway, we decided that there was NO WAY we could keep our house in "show-ready" condition with four kids (one of them a newborn). So we booked a two bedroom condo and spent the week there! We had a blast, and it was very much needed after the CRAZY previous few weeks.

2 Months!! :)

My sweet little Ander boy is 2 months!! I couldn't stop taking pictures because he is so cute.

  • He has been smiling a lot!!
  • He weighed 13 lbs 7 ounces at his 2 month appointment and measured 23 inches long.
  • He is wearing 3-6 month clothes.
  • He loves to be in my Solly wrap, he will sleep all day in there!
  • He usually nurses about every 1.5-3 hours during the day, and has gone as long as 5.5 hours at night.
  • We don't have a "schedule" yet, but he seems to be more sleepy in the afternoons. :)
  • He has started some tiny, sweet little coo's. Sometimes when he's about to latch on to nurse he lets out these little sigh-coo's that are so adorable.
  • When you talk to him and he's really happy, his eyes literally sparkle his happiness.
  • He smiles SO much when Bridger beat-boxes to him, lol.
  • He does great with tummy time and rolls over all the time from belly to back, he rolled from back to belly once so far. He's super strong!
  • He loves to take showers! He's actually never had a real bath, but he showers with me and loves it. :)
  • He has this little signature frown whenever he's going to fill his little diaper.
  • He has started hitting toys that are dangling above him, he's getting really good!

These tasty rolls!!

Anderson's Baby Blessing. :)

Anderson was blessed on April 1, 2018. :)

We usually wait to bless our babies until they are about 3 months old, but because we have been in the middle of moving, and everyone was in town for Easter and General Conference, we decided last minute to do his blessing in Hurricane. We had a small gathering of our closest friends and family between sessions of General Conference on Sunday, and I LOVED it. It was much more relaxed and intimate than Sacrament meeting.

Jeremy gave him the blessing and Grandpa Brown, Uncle Jarom, Uncle Cade, Grandpa Jarvis, Bishop Beatty, and Ben Scow were in the circle.

Grandma Brown sewed his blessing outfit in TWO DAYS, she is amazing. Great-Grandma Janet made his beautiful blessing blanket!

His blessing said:
"We take this infant in our arms to give him a name and a blessing...his name shall be Anderson Lamont Jarvis. With this name we bless you, Anderson, that you may live a life filled with faith, that you can be an example to your brothers, of light in a world of darkness and give them strength as you go toward your righteous goals in this life. We bless you with good health, that you can live with vigor and energy, that you can serve a mission and spread the Gospel throughout the world throughout your life. We bless you with the gift of being able to follow the Spirit and listen to its voice so you may be led in the important decisions in your life. We bless you that you can have courage that you may be able to make hard decisions as you follow the Spirit and be an example to those around you throughout your life. These blessings and any other blessings the Lord wishes to bless you with we leave upon you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

He did so good, and didn't fuss at all! After, we served chocolate chip cookies and ice cream while we took turns holding this cutie pie.
