1 Month!! :)

This lil' muffin is 1 month!!

We are so in love with her. The boys are constantly rubbing their nose on her cheek to "snuggle" her, kissing her, hugging her, wanting to see her, talking to her, and wanting to hold her. Jeremy still gets teary eyes whenever he holds her and always tells me how his heart is going to burst when he gets a picture of her, sees her, or holds her. lol. She is so sweet and she has the most adorable baby chubs (her cheeks!). She is getting tiny thigh and arm rolls that are so delicious and her fuzzy hair is absolutely irresistible, and she has the sweetest lips.

  • She batted at some little hanging toys this last week!
  • She loves to take a shower with me, and she is now liking her baths better.
  • Her belly button finally healed up around 3.5-4 weeks, and that's a good thing because she hated sponge baths.
  • She has smiled at me two times! I almost cried because it was so cute.
  • She does NOT like to lay in a cradle hold in anyone's arms. She likes to be up and looking over your shoulder with her big, blue eyes. She has fought sleep since she was born! Right when her little eyes close she will let out a wail and start fussing, so then you have to walk her around or put her over your shoulder, lol.
  • She is super strong, she has been able to hold up her head from right when she was born.
  • She is liking her binky better. The first week she would just push it out and keep fussing, but the last couple weeks it has started to help her calm down when needed.
  • She had her first chiropractor appointment and did awesome! He adjusted her sacrum and mid back, and gave me some stretches to do with her to help with that, but he said she was already really well aligned so my thoughts that her birth was gentle were right. Her head movement to both sides was really good and he checked all her reflexes and they were great, too. He said her pallet is high, and I think that is why she clicks a lot while nursing, and that is something babies just have to grow out of.
  • In the last month she usually had a couple hours during the day that she was fussy, but it transitioned to being fussy late at night and then sleeping for a pretty long stretch at night. Between 9-11 she seems tired but won't sleep, I have been noticing that if I help her get some gas and/or poop out she settles down much faster.
  • She gets hiccups all the time!
  • I love to take a nap with her, it's one of my favorite things.
  • She loves the Solly wrap! She looks all around, propped up on her little arms on my chest, and then after awhile she will go to sleep.

Newborn Pictures!! :)

Roslyn had her newborn pictures taken when she was eight days old...and she stayed awake almost the entire time!! lol. Our photographer was great with her, though, and helped our older boys feel comfortable and have a fun time, so I am very grateful. I love how they turned out! She got the cutest expressions and all the tiny details that we were wanting. :)
