18 months. :)

(This is a little house Jeremy made for Bridger, he LOVES it)

Bridger is 18 months old! :) This past month has gone so quick, he's actually almost 19 months now...I really wanted to do some 18 month pics (and family pics for that matter) but this month has been really crazy, and we were all sick for a week of it. :p That was no fun! Other than that, Bridger is saying a ton of words, and got all four of his molars in. :) Whoo hoo! I like doing detailed posts like this so that when I print my blogs out every couple years, we can look back when our kids are grown and know what was going on, so, it's pretty long. :)

(This is how Bridger plays with his Tonka truck ha ha...he loves getting pushed in it)

He says...thank you, mama, dada, papa, wow, "e, i, e, i, o" (think old McDonald), no no or "mm mm" while he shakes his head, uh-oh, buh-bye, night night, teeth, what's that/this, "one, two, three, GO!" (we count with our fingers while we count out loud, it's so cute. He kind of hums out the one and two, but says "tee" for three) and he says "oh" and "cool"while he turns his mouth into a little circle. He also holds his little finger up to his mouth and will say "ssshhh" then hold it up to mine and say it again. When I say "let's whisper" he tries so hard to whisper, and he's awesome at it for a few seconds. :) Besides all those words he still uses his little language that seems a little too complex for me to figure out ha ha...

I try to get him to make animal sounds, but the only one he cares about is "woof woof", he absolutely loves dogs and every time we see one he runs for it to try and pet it, it freaks me out.

He can point out (on his own face and mine) where our noses, hair, eyes, ears, cheeks, and teeth are.

Things Bridger loves...

He loves to give kisses, like I said...he can count to three with his fingers, he runs EVERYWHERE (and it's so cute because he like bounces, I love it), he likes to drive his big trucks all around the house (he loves any kind of car) he goes poop on the potty (most of the time, and still does his "poop dance"), loves to play the piano, eats with a fork or a spoon and is super good at it (he's been doing that for a few months), he copies my workouts (I do this Jillian Michaels workout where you put your fists in front of your chest and do that football running in place thing and he does it all the time), he likes to help with lotion after his bath, loves to brush his teeth, he loves nursery so far, he loves to help me with laundry and cooking, and he loves no-bakes...just like his momma! :) Oh yeah, and he still loves Curious George the most, Blue's Clues second, and he loves technology (laptops, phones, buttons in the car, the remote etc...). When he watches Blue's Clues, when Steve sings he will do the actions with him (like point to his head for think and hold up for "one more time" stuff like that). He really loves to go outside and play, but my cutie is so independent and so un-shy that he will take off when I'm talking to people or whatever, I've got to watch him SO close. One last thing...he loves to wear his little sunglasses!

(Bridger in his little whale pool in our front yard, he loves playing with the hose!)

He is finally sleeping through the night, he was nursing once or twice up until about a two weeks ago, now he sleeps from 8 pm to about 5:30 or 6 before I nurse him so he'll sleep longer, usually until about 8 am. :) Sooo nice. I decided it was time for him to sleep longer and I was getting really tired after, you know, 18 months of waking up multiple times a night, but I couldn't make him cry...so when he would wake up, Jeremy went in instead and surprisingly, after Jeremy would pick him up for a sec and find his binky he would go straight back to sleep...after a few nights he was fine and sleeping. :) I hope it lasts. He also takes one nap at about 12:30 until about 3-3:30.

He still nurses before his afternoon nap and before bed, and usually in the morning sometime...people are usually surprised that he is still nursing but I'm not sure why...ha ha to me it's pretty normal and we both love it so I guess we'll keep going until he's ready to stop. :)

He's eating a little better, his favorite foods haven't changed much, they are about the same as last month except I found out he loves beans and quinoa a lot, which is awesome!

He has the cutest chuckle and the cutest deep little baby voice. :) and he's so ticklish. And I love that he will just sit there while I smother him in kisses because he's so used to it. He's so delicious, I just know that my little boy was saved in heaven by Heavenly Father just for me. He is such a momma's boy and I can't get enough of him. He is just so stinkin' silly, just like his parents, he's always making me laugh. He also has a very strong personality (this is a lot like me) but he definitely has a stubborn streak like his father, and gets frustrated if he doesn't get something the first time...just like his father...and he crosses his ankles...just like his father... (I love seeing little things like that). Anyway, we love him more than ever. :)

I am so thankful for this little boy. If you couldn't tell. ;)

p.s.-his little mullet is coming back. I'm leaving it. :) It's too cute.

Here are some other pictures...these are from last Monday when Aaron was staying with us, we went to the aquarium and had tons of fun, it was really cool!

Can you tell that Aaron and Bridger were just so excited? (bahaha)

Jeremy & Aaron touched the stingrays, I was too scared!! :S creepppyyy...

j
Me teaching Bridger to drive a ship. :) (jk, he probably knows more about steering a ship than I do...)

Aaron, Bridger and I, in a tiny little canoe...

Us with Jeremy this time! Believe me though, if this canoe was real...and in the water...I wouldn't be looking so happy (er. cheesy). I don't really like small boats. This is probably my favorite canoe. ever.

Bridger trying to get close to the camera, as usual. It seems like anytime we try to take pictures of him he just wants to put his face right up to it! Little stinker, he likes the flash. :) ha ha.

This is SO random.

Weirdly, I have not been in a blogging mood the past few weeks...it was strange. My mind has been extremely occupied (as usual) ha ha with a bunch of other things. Anyway...

what have I been thinking about?? Well, as some of you may know, I am like a die-hard romantic. For reals. Ask Jeremy. He is so good to me, even with my high-maintenance romantic personality ha ha. This, mixed with my need to write, means that my thoughts are filled with  how I have wanted to write a book for I don't even know how long, a romantic one (a clean one ha!). There was one point in middle school when I just knew that I would major in English so I could be a writer. (p.s. I did NOT major in English, I realized I could write without an English degree which would have been soo boring) so I started my first novel, I think when I was a freshman?? I don't remember. But it never got finished. Then there was a llllloooonnngggg break until I finished my bachelor degree (since I had dance, then a baby, and a ton of homework) and now I just HAVE to. Have to. It would be so amazing to have one of my stories published...someday. :) I will keep writing until it happens I guess.

Next random thing...Aaron, Jeremy's little brother, came to stay with us for three weeks. :) So, he will be going home next Friday. He is seriously SUCH an awesome kid! He is almost 16, he is so willing to help out and is so sweet. Don't tell him I said that. :p ha ha. I have been teaching him how to cook (without meat) and he loves it! So we are sending a recipe box full of vegetarian recipes home with him. I have also been teaching him how to play the piano, he bought a Hymns Made Easy book and we've been working on those so he can play in seminary. He has such a strong spirit and is going to be the most amazing missionary one day. Pretty much our entire ward and our Bishop thinks he is just an amazing kid and they love him, they try to convince him to stay! Bridger loves having a buddy to play with. :) We went to the aquarium last Monday and it was a blast, we are hoping to squeeze a baseball game in sometime this next week too. Jeremy has been in heaven having someone to play baseball with all the time. We absolutely love having him here, and we are going to miss him when he has to go home. :(

Next random thing...we have been vegetarian for almost three months now, I think? We still love it. :) It rocks.

Next random thing...Bridger is 18 months (almost 19 months)!!!!! Oh. my. heavens. This deserves a post of it's own. Tomorrow. :)

Next random thing...Jeremy wrote a new song, then Kristina, his cousin, worked with him on a more professional program to improve the quality of the sounds and it turned out amazing. He seriously gets better and better with every song he writes! I love it. And I love this song, the beat is awesome. If you haven't heard it you can go here...

Last random thing...our three year anniversary is in only like two months! Ah! We have no idea what we are going to do yet, I guess we'll see... :)

I have more random things but I will wait.

I love random posts.
