9 Months. :)

My baby boy is nine months old. :')

February was a really rough month for all of us. Beckham is usually a really good sleeper, but the first week of February he stopped sleeping. Like, really just STOPPED. gah. It was terrible. He was waking up, literally, every hour for a week before I couldn't take it anymore. I was afraid of the night at that point, I dreaded it, really. I had read about the sleep regressions on the internet, but I felt like this was a really severe regression if that's what it really was...so, I decided to take him to the doctor to make sure something else wasn't going on before I let him cry (I was that desperate for sleep...if you know me, I'm not a fan of letting them cry...). Anyway, I'm SO glad I took him in, he had an ear infection! I had no idea! There were absolutely no symptoms besides the waking every hour at night. Bridger never had an ear infection so I didn't even think about it until the end of the week. Seriously, this little guy is so happy and for a whole WEEK he had an ear infection and I couldn't even tell. I felt so bad. :( During the day he would just play and eat like normal, he had no fever, no runny nose, no cough or congestion. Nothing. Soooo...they put him on antibiotics that afternoon and for the next awful ten days my poor baby had a terrible diaper rash and still wasn't sleeping that good. We FINALLY finished the antibiotics and he still didn't sleep for a few more days. Then. Finally. Sweet relief. He slept 3.5 hours between nursings at night. Oh my gosh. I only had to get up three times! Then for the rest of that week he gradually started going longer and longer, the last night 4.5 hours between nursings, so I only had to get up two times. :) :) :) But. Then, it all ended. He's not sleeping again, and he thinks 5 AM is time to get up, and I'm almost positive he has like three teeth trying to cut through. Teething and lack of sleep make me want to pull my hair out! Hopefully these teeth cut through, FAST, so we can both get some much needed sleep. :)

This little guy is so happy. He brings so much joy to my life.

He can crawl SO fast! And he is already close to walking, which is crazy. I find him standing up all the time, balancing on his chubby little baby feet. He gets really excited and falls down, and when I try to get him to walk to me, he gets all silly. I love it. :) He is a pro at going up stairs, but he learned that one behind my back...he knows. He knows he isn't supposed to go up there so he crawls super quiet up the stairs and then starts squealing and clapping when he gets to the top. I love him.

Love those tasty cheeks. :)

He still loves to say "da da" and sometimes it seems like he knows his dad is Jeremy, he says it when he sees him sometimes. He also still really likes "na na", and when I try to get him to say hi and bye (while waving) he just laughs at me.

His sweet little profile. And I wanted to take a picture of how tall his mohawk is getting. :) I love it. And there is no way I am cutting it in the near future, no matter how long it gets...

He loves to eat. All the time. He could just keep eating all day long! I nurse him at night about three times (lately I don't know what the average is) then he eats rice cereal with fruit in the morning, rice cereal with a vegetable at lunch and oatmeal with a fruit or vegetable at dinner, AND he nurses before his two naps and bedtime. AND he eats puffs all day long. Hungry boy. When he first started eating he liked both fruits and vegetables and fruits, now he is starting to get mad when I give him vegetables. So I found this cereal that is apple and sweet potato and I give him that with his vegetables to add a little sweetness and now he does fine. Hopefully, it lasts! :) He loves drinking out of a cup, any kind of cup, with or without a lid. And he's got the finger pinch down to pick up small pieces of food.

Beckham loves putting everything in his mouth. Bridger never did that so I didn't have to worry about him, he just didn't put things in his mouth. I leave Beckham for just a couple minutes and I come back to find him "munching" those little gums and have to swipe his mouth (which he hates!). I have found carpet fibers, a bean, noodles, paper, a tinfoil star, a cotton ball, random food pieces off the kitchen floor (usually found under Bridger's chair), and those plastic pieces that hold tags on to clothes. So. It kind of freaks me out, I always have to be watching him...

His nine month appointment is on Tuesday, and if he's feeling better he will be getting his last HIB, PC vaccine which will complete the series, whoo! I'll have to update his weight and height info on here when I get it. :) But he is wearing 18 month size clothes...and they fit really good...
