This sweet boy is 2 months!!
At two months...
- He nurses every 2-3 hours during the day and he goes 4-6 hours the first part of the night, then 2 hours after that.
- At his 2 month appointment he weighed 12 lbs 10 oz
- His 3 month clothes are tight! I've been dressing him in 3-6 or 6 month clothes.
- He gives the biggest grins and they are absolutely adorable.
- He loves to coo and has been finding more sounds with his little voice.
- He wakes up around 7:30 AM for about 1-2 hours, then goes back to sleep for 1-2 hours then wakes up for about an hour, lol. Then at about 1 PM he sleeps until about 7, stays awake until about 8:30-9 PM and then is out for the night. :)
- He LOVES his baths, he has been kicking and smiling during his baths. It's so cute. He also loves to take a shower with me or Jeremy.
- He has been learning to bat at his toys that hang from his toy, he gets really excited about them, lol. :)
- He's pretty loud when he has gas or poop, he grunts and grunts and wiggles until he gets it out, he is just so cute.
- Bridger and Beckham just love him. They always want to see him and kiss him and give him toys and hugs, I'm grateful they love him so much.
- He still startles pretty easy.
- He likes his binky alright, but doesn't NEED it to sleep.
- He has been fighting going to sleep still, especially when he stays awake too long.
- My letdown is still really fast for him, so he is still gulping and choking a lot when nursing, I'm hoping he can "catch up" with the milk flow soon. :)
- Foods that I've eaten that he didn't like: Tomatoes, chocolate, broccoli and possibly mint.
- He loves light. Any light, especially natural light coming through the window. When he wakes up in the morning he just stares as the light grows brighter as the sun comes up, but he loves any windows anytime of the day. :)
He is such a sweet, happy baby. He has definitely had his fussy days, usually after I've eaten something that I suspect caused it, but otherwise he is just a total Momma's boy and is pretty content as long as he is in my arms or very close to me. I put him on the floor with me while I fold laundry and he just looks around and coos at me, when I work out he lays in the pack n' play and looks out the window I put him by and if he starts to fuss I workout right next to him. Sometimes it's a struggle to get my entire workout in, and sometimes there are a lot of breaks, but I make sure I get it in everyday. I am sure grateful for this little man in our family. :)
Aunt Brianna. :)
His adorable little hair. :)
