11 Months!! :)

 

This Lil' Peach is 11 months!! What???! I keep saying that "this time last year she was still growing in my belly, getting ready to come," and then I snuggle her. Time goes so fast. We are loving to see her personality show more and more, and see all the new things she is learning. One of her new things...she is walking!! Jeremy was at an Army school for the last two months, and a few weeks ago she was balancing so good and I could tell she could take a step if I practiced with her, but I held off because I didn't want Jeremy to miss her first steps! lolol. By the time he got home I was having to hold her off a little, but he DID get to join us and see her first steps, it was very sweet. :) She can take 2-4 steps at a time, and then she falls down or gets down to crawl because it's faster still. She loves to push little push toys around, and she can go so fast! She loves to try new foods, she LOVES to dance to any kind of music, she loves to chat, and she loves when her brothers, Daddy or I, or Grandma play on the floor with her. She is so beautiful and sweet, she knows what she wants and makes sure we know it, and she brings so much joy to our family. We are so grateful for her!

Cutie lips.

• She blows/vibrates her lips to make little car sounds now.
• She is wearing 12 month clothes and they fit her perfect, she does fit into some 12-18 months.  
• She can say dada (she whispers dada sometimes, and it's so cute), ma-ma, di-di (bye-bye, she also waves her tiny hands when she says it), nee-nee, na-na, ba-ba.
• She loves to push things across the floor now, like books, cars, and toys that can slide. 
• She can get to standing from a squat while balancing, and she balances for a long time now!
• She dances all the time! Anytime Daddy beat boxes she will instantly start rocking back and forth and shaking her head, and move her shoulders side to side if she's standing up. She will also dance if she hears any kind of music (even songs without a dance beat, lolol, like a person singing acapella). 
• She claps when she wants something, or she is done and wants to get out of her high chair, it's this quick little *clapclap* lolol. 
• She goes to bed at 7 PM and sleeps in her own bed until we go to bed, usually around 11 PM, then she comes to bed with me and nurses. She has been waking up *and staying up* for 1-2 hours in the night, I think because she is learning so many things (including getting ready to walk!). She nurses several times in the night and then wakes up between 6-7 AM. She takes one nap per day at 11:30-2, and nurses about 3 times per day still. 
• She started beans and rice this last month and loves them! She also loves honeydew, blueberries, and cantaloupe in her teether. She loves tiny pieces of whole wheat bread, almond milk yogurt, orzo soup, smoky lentil soup, and spaghetti with veggies! She also loves to try to feed herself with her spoon, so when I finish feeding her her yogurt, I will give the bowl and spoon to her and she practices putting it in the bowl and then in her mouth, she's getting really good!
• If she doesn't like something, or someone, she will just slap it/them away, LOL. Like, if someone is trying to play with her and she's not in the mood she just waves her little hand to swat at them. She just knows what she is in the mood for! lolol. 
• She got to wear her first ponytail this last month!! She is absolutely adorable. It is so fun to get to do her hair. She doesn't like it, though. I set her on the counter and start combing or putting a hair tie in and she starts waving her hands over her head to swat at me. She is so funny. Her hair is also getting longer and thicker, and she has the most adorable loose ringlets in the back. 
• She cut her two top middle teeth this month!! She now has four. :)

10 Months!! :)

This gorgeous little sweetie is 10 months!! We love her so much. Time is going so fast, I feel like I just barely gave birth to her and now she's almost one. She is an absolute joy and she is so good for our family. She is a ray of sunshine and we are so grateful for her! She is so animated with her personality and expressions, she makes us laugh all the time with her cute little nose scrunches, huge smiles, her talking, her waving, and her dancing, along with everything else she does. She is just so cute. You HAVE to smile when you look at her. She 

When I change her diaper she throws this leg over, just like this, and scratches her little bootie cheek, ever single time. LOLOL. She is super tasty.

• She takes one nap per day, from 11-2, and then goes to bed for the night at 7 PM and wakes up around 11 PM. She comes to bed with me and nurses, and then wakes up between 6-7 AM. She nurses 3-4 times per night, just depending on if she has a growth spurt or is teething. She nurses about 3-4 times per day. 
• She is wearing mostly 12 month clothes now, she still fits in her 9 month clothes, but they are getting a little tight!
• She claps when she wants something. It's like *clap, clap* really quick together, lolol. I love her sassy/sweet attitude. We have never seen a baby do this. She will do it if she wants more food, or wants a toy, or to be picked up. She takes after her mom and her grandma, LOL. 
• Words she can say: dada, di-di (bye-bye), mama, baba, nana.
• She waves bye-bye so cute!!! She waves her hand so feminine-like, she doesn't just wave it up and down she like turns it up and down like a little princess, lol. She holds her little hands all feminine all the time, too, with her little fingers all proper. She is so stinking cute. 
• Her favorite foods: Sweet potato in little bites, butternut squash, banana in bites or in her teether, prunes and pears, cooked carrots in little bites, watermelon in her teether, cheerios, puffs, and tiny bites of whole wheat bread.  
• She loves to play with toys, some of her favorite things lately are putting blocks in and out of a bucket, playing with the play food toys, and she loves the Calico Critter play houses and furniture. We will sit on the floor and arrange the furniture in the houses and she will use the house to stand up and takes all the furniture out and sucks on it and puts it back, she really loves it, lol. She also loves to play with cars and started driving them around while making car sounds like her brothers, lol. 
• She has been eating so much stuff she finds on the floor! gah. I have found pebbles, granola, mud, paper, LEGO's, and Little Critter pieces in her mouth. 
• Every time she hears music *of any kind* she starts rocking back and forth, LOL. I love it!! Daddy FaceTimes and he will beat box and she just starts dancing right away. It makes me laugh because she will hear any kind of tune and just start dancing, it's so adorable. 
• She can crawl SO fast now!! And she balanced 4 times this last month, she is getting so confident with it. 
• When she sees anyone with food, she fists her tiny hands and tightens her whole body and kind of yells like she wants some too! It's so funny. 
• She still has just her bottom-middle two teeth, but her top-middle two are getting close!

She is SO yummy. She loves this little car!

Balancing!! (This is the fourth time she did it)

• I took her measurements this month and she measured 28.5 inches tall (60%), her head measured 18.25 inches (94%), and she weighed 19 lbs 9 oz (68%)
• She still purses her yummy lips and sucks on her food before she chews it and it is SO adorable.
• She holds her hands all dainty still, it's so cute. She's always done that. 
• She is crawling around everywhere now. Everywhere. And she's really quiet, so I'm constantly having to watch her. 
• She balanced on her own four times in the last two weeks!
• Her hair is getting longer! She has tiny, loose curls on the sides behind her ears, it's so cute. 
• She still has just her two bottom front teeth, but the top two are close!
• She loves to play with me with her binky, she puts it in my mouth and likes me to pretend like I want it and she takes it and laughs, it's adorable. 
• A few weeks ago I started laying her down after I nursed her for bed so she could start learning to fall asleep on her own, I lay right next to her bed, she cried for a little while, and she still fusses a little bit every night, but she's been doing really good! I also learned she LOVES to sleep on her tummy with her little booty in the air. She is so cute.
