8 Months! :)

This little nugget is 8 months as of November 21st!
  • He cut his first tooth yesterday, December 3rd. It's the lower left center, the lower right is just about to come through, so he's had kind of a rough week.
  • He can now go from a crawling position to sitting, and from sitting to crawling. He is still doing that army crawl, although he rocks on his knees A LOT, and he is super fast!
  • He started pulling himself up on things this month and he is LOVING this new independence and the new view he has of his little world.
  • He had his first bath in the big tub this month and LOVED it. Up to this point he was still in his little baby tub. He has always loved baths, but he loves being able to splash and move around in his bath.
  • He has this new growl/quack thing going on and says "dada dada" while he does it, it is so funny. He says "mama" when he is upset or sad.
  • He has NOT been sleeping well. He still is trying to wake up in the night for hours at a time around 1:30-3, I've had to get out of bed, wrap him in his blanket and nurse him, then rock him to sleep, then he'll sleep the rest of the night.
  • He goes to bed around 7-8 and gets up around 6:30-7:15 usually. He still naps twice a day, usually around 10 in the morning for 1-2 hours, then again around 2-3 in the afternoon for 1-2 hours.
  • He doesn't usually fall asleep nursing. He eats, then he wants his binky and I rock him for a few minutes, I can sometimes put him in his bed when he's almost asleep and he will fall asleep, but usually he will immediately flip over and make his way to the end of his crib closest to the door and start saying, "mama mama" lol. He also loves when I sing him to sleep, he falls asleep almost immediately.
  • He is so expressive and has the cutest smile. He raises his eyebrows when he's really happy and it makes me smile.
  • He loves to play with his brothers and follows them around all day! Bridger and Beckham think he is so funny.
  • He is still eating just one meal of baby food a day and nursing 3-4 times, he eats with us for dinner. He loves the little baby cheetos, puffs, bananas, and most fruits in baby food form.
  • We call him: Lil' Tasty, Bubba, Little One, and sometimes Benz, along with a lot of other little sweet names we call our kids. :)

Halloween & Thanksgiving!! :)

Halloween this year was pretty low-key, the boys wanted Iron Man and Captain America costumes which I decided I didn't want to home make, so we bought them (for the first time!). Jeremy has been wanting to be Thor for like four years, so his dream also came true. ;) lol. I put together a last minute Black Widow costume, but after looking in the mirror I thought maybe I looked like a lady of the night or something...Benson was the Hulk. Brianna joined us for cookies and trick or treating, but she didn't dress up. :) We didn't get to go down to Hurricane for Halloween this year because it was on a weekday, so we just walked around our neighborhood, but it was SO COLD. We were all freezing by the time we got home, but we had a fun time!!

So...my husband is a dang good pumpkin carver!

It was so cold and so late! This is the best picture we got, lol.

The boys were terrified of this t-rex costume, lol.

For Thanksgiving we headed down to Hurricane and were able to celebrate with both our families! I didn't get pictures of Thanksgiving day, but we went to this guys "ranch," and spent a day out there with my side of the family. At first I was afraid of this place because...well, I can't describe it, you have to go there to see it, LOL. Basically, this guy bought used carnival rides, bounce houses, etc. and built all of this stuff including a three story tall treehouse and a climbing challenge thing, but let's just say there are no safety codes being enforced, LOLOL. He even has this pond that you can take canoes out on! We all had so much fun, I would take our kids back! They loved the zip line too, even though that was one of the freakiest things, it looked like a lawn chair with a seatbelt on it! LOLOLOL!
