prego journal, yoga, birthing class...whoo hoo!!!! :D

I LOVE pregnancy yoga. It's the bomb. Must I say more? It's one of my favorite things to do now because it feels so so so good...what's really weird is that I used to hate yoga because I thought it was uncomfortable, but no, not this yoga that I have, I do it everyday. Everyone should come join me for a pregnancy yoga party ha ha! Hey, you don't have to be pregnant to do it, Jeremy does it with me all the time, I told him he's going to have to know everything so that when I'm in labor he can do the stretches and exercises with me and keep me going...if I'm in labor, so is he. right? It's his baby too. ;) he he I'm a nice wife, really. Jk, I don't think he minds, most of the time we end up laughing at each other while we're supposed to be meditating and stretching so sometimes I have to do it by myself so that I can actually practice my meditation for labor. Anyway, after hours of researching different birthing classes and techniques we have decided to try hypnobirthing. I know, I know, most people go with lamaz or the bradley method and other more common classes, and I also know that I may sound like a nerd saying we're going to hypnobirthing class, but I'm really interested to see what I can do with it. Our introductory class is this Friday, we wanted to start the class early so that we can practice as much as possible! So I will let you know how it goes. :) Oh, and I finally got my pregnancy journal!! It's so cute. :) When the mailman knocked on my door, I waited until he drove away and then I charged downstairs and grabbed it because I was so excited...I've been waiting like a week...It's called "The Belly Book" and it has room for lot's of pictures and notes and prompts...and I just love it. :) Ha ha the pages get bigger with every trimester and the book looks like a growing belly, it's cute. I have to start at the beginning and try to remember everything because I'm already at 20 weeks tomorrow, but I am going to fill that thing up!! I better go get started... :)

My wonder man.

Ok, so Boondocks is this huge place that has an arcade and miniature golf and all that fun stuff, just so you know what's goin on in my story...you all know how arcade games are, you put two tokens in and get like three tickets right? Well, not this night. We found the MIRACLE game. It was an electronic jump rope and Jeremy wanted to try it so bad, I was just like "whatever, this looks stupid, but I will wait" in my head. The first three times he tried it and he lost because we didn't know exactly what it was at first, so I said "let's go, you're wasting all your tokens." Then he says he's going to try just one more time, that time he actually won and got ten tickets...then he did it again...and guess what. He got the JACKPOT! 50 beautiful tickets spewed out of that machine...then he did it again and again and again, eventually he won both the 100 ticket jackpot and the 150 ticket jackpot multiple times! I could hardly hold all the tickets in my hand, it was crazy. Everybody thought that he was wonder man, it was like I was holding gold in my hands. We took all our tickets to the ticket counting machine and it totalled up to 848 tickets! Holy cow. It was like a dream...we traded our tickets for prizes and then left, we were so happy though, I felt like I was 10 years old. Anyway, I think Jeremy should have started his jumproping career a long time ago by the looks of it, at first I thought he looked like a huge nerd just jumping all crazy and I was laughing at him...but then he won, lot's of times, so then I looked crazy because I was like screaming for him on the sidelines. One of the many things I love about Jeremy is that he could care less what other people think, he gives things everything he's got and doesn't hold back no matter what he looks like, it's cute. :)

Butterfly wings. :)

So everything I've read says that you can start to feel your baby moving from around 16 to 22 weeks. They say if it is your first pregnancy you will probably feel the movements later rather than earlier unless you are really thin...well...I think I started feeling our baby just after 13 weeks but then I told myself, "wait. that's way early. maybe it's just gas or something." After a couple days I decided that there is no way anyone could have that much gas and knew it was my baby. I find it truly amazing that your body and intuition work together to tell you what's going on...no matter what any book says, nothing can beat a woman's intuition! The moment I felt the baby, the thought came to my head, "that's our baby moving" and I thought I was crazy because it felt like little butterfly wings in my belly, but just last week Jeremy was resting his hand on my belly while I was reading in bed and all of a sudden our baby did some karate kicks or something! They were the hardest and most noticeable movements that I had felt up to that point. I looked at Jeremy with a huge smile and asked him if he felt it...his eyes were huge and he started laughing because he was so surprised. After that he didn't want to take his hand off just in case our baby said hi again, now every night he has to feel our baby kick at least once before we go to sleep, I love it!! We also went to our second doctor's appointment on the 30th and heard the babies heartbeat, it was beating at 155 beats per minute which is good...they say the faster it is the more likely it's a girl so I guess we'll see. :) It was so cute. :) I want to permanently imprint all of these awesome moments in my mind so I never forget... :)
