9 Months!! :)

This little sweetie-pie is 9 months!! This last month he has learned so much, it has been so fun but also exhausting because I think that all of the developmental progression really affected his nighttime sleep. He has been waking up several times a night, and sometimes he was just wide awake and ready to play. But he really started crawling, he started pulling himself up to standing on things, he started feeding himself with finger foods and even started cruising between toys. We have a little play area all blocked off with a variety of diaper and wipe boxes, toys and toys boxes as a barrier, lol. He learned to pull himself up on the boxes, and now can travel along the whole barrier, LOL. He is absolutely adorable. His personality is so fun, sweet and, for the most part, really chill.

  • At his 9 month appointment he weighed
  • He is still nursing 3-4 times during the day and between 2-3 times at night. And he still bites with those two tiny perfect sharp little baby teeth! When he's done he'll bite, like he's saying he's ready for his binky. He's so funny.
  • He still does not eat baby food AT. ALL. He literally shoves it away and turns his face, lol. I started making him toast, he also likes coconut yogurt, bran muffins, and pasta. He tried some beans and didn't like those too much. He does like cooked carrots, too.
  • He has started doing this sniff thing, the dry air makes his nose make whistle sounds because of dry boogers during the day or right when he wakes up in the morning, he'll make these loud, long sniffs and blow out, over and over. It's hilarious. :)
  • His hair is getting longer and thicker! I could say he's almost got a little mullet.

Yum.

He likes to crawl over to the Christmas tree and bat at the ornaments until they fall off so he can play with them. lol.

  • He loves when his brothers play with him, they know how to make him smile and laugh, and even when we are riding in the car and he gets fussy in his carseat, they will play with him to keep him happy.
  • He has been finding things to put in his mouth on the ground! Gah. I have to watch him so close!! Those tiny fingers are very good at that pinch grasp. I've already found a LEGO and a few different little pieces of paper in his mouth.
  • He goes to sleep at 7 PM and wakes up for the day around 6:30-7 AM, he wakes up 2-3 times at night still to nurse.
  • He LOVES bath time. LOVES IT. Benson and him take a bath together in the evenings and have a lot of fun with their bath toys. :)
  • He loves to feel his Daddy's face, LOL.
  • He is so close to clapping and waving, he does the motions randomly, but he doesn't know what they are all about yet.
  • He says mama and dadada.
  • He wants to be independent! He gets frustrated being in his little play area, he will fuss, and as soon as I let him out to crawl around freely he is completely content. It's the same with eating, which is why I think he doesn't like baby food.

MMM. Those tasty rolls.

Yummy.

Tiny hair. :)

So handsome.

Naptime cuddles. :)

Into a HUGE pile of Friend magazines!

One of the first times he pulled himself up. :)

Happy to be free from his play area!

Bedtime. :)

8 Months!! :)

Ander boy is 8 months old! :) I love this sweetie! He cut his first tooth October 18th, the day he turned 8 months! It was his right-middle bottom. He cut his second tooth on October 25th, the left-middle bottom. He will get in the crawl position and just party there, rocking and bouncing until he gets where he wants to go, lol. He is still working on the crawling motion, so he doesn't get too far yet, but he's so close! He also started saying "ma-ma" in the last few weeks!! I love it.

  • Nicknames: Ander, Cutie-nugget, Chunk, Snuggle-nugget, Lil' Pumpkin, Lil' Tasty, and Bubba.
  • He has, so far, not been a fan of baby food. He does LOVE to munch on whole wheat Ritz crackers, he will eat Puff's, and loves to chew on this little fruit teether thing when I put apples or peeled grapes in it.
  • He nurses 3-4 times per day and 1-2 times at night. He has just barely dropped his evening nap.  He has slept pretty good, as long as seven hours, but a couple weeks ago I think he started the 8 month sleep regression and he has been waking up and STAYING awake for 1-2 hours in the night *wide awake*. Because of that, I'm running on 3-5 hours of interrupted, awful sleep. But he's so stinking adorable that I just want to cuddle him anyway!

He loves to take a bath and splash in the water! He is so chubby and adorably scoots around the bottom of the tub because his splashes are so big and push him around. He also loves to take showers. :)
  • His brothers love to greet him in his crib as soon as he wakes up in the morning, they bring him toys and play with him and he loves it. I do too, since then I can lay in bed for another ten minutes, lol.
  • His new little smile-face is adorable. I can hardly handle it. His whole face scrunches up and he smile SO big. I love it.

Watching a show with us. :)

Cuddles after nap time.

This is his new smile face. LOL. Anyone who sees him smile HAS to smile back at him.

Temporarily distracted by the gummy rabbit. The older boys think this picture is so funny.

His little smile face in the background. LOL.

Oh, he's cute.

Governor's Day!!

We always love going to Governor's Day, and this year was especially fun because Grandma & Grandpa Brown and Aunt Brianna joined us! We watched the troops march, then we walked around the booths and the car show, did the bounce house and won lots of prizes for the boys, then headed home. Here are a few pics. :)

He just looks so comfortable.

My love.
