Can I just tell everyone that Christmas was CrAzY this year?! Geez. It is so hard to spend enough time with two families...I don't have pictures of Christmas morning because they are on my parents camera, but it was so fun! We didn't get up til eight, but I didn't sleep all night long, I never can on Christmas Eve...it doesn't really help a lot when I wake up three times on average every night anyway, but I was just too excited for Jeremy to open his presents! As I lay there staring at the clock all night long I thought about what I might be getting for Christmas...a popcorn popper? Maybe a...book? I don't even know. But then I was imagining what Jeremy would do when he opened his WII that I bought him!!! Ah!! It felt like the time got stuck at 3 am for four hours that night. Anyway, eventually the sun came up and eight o clock rolled around and we were able to get up (eight o clock is the earliest we're aloud to get up at our house-a rule made by my parents btw). We sat down and dad started handing out the presents, he gave Jeremy the one I was so excited for, and he gave me one from Jeremy. Everyone else was kind of chuckling but I didn't even think about it...we start tearing open our presents from each other and all of a sudden Jeremy yells "NO WAY, NO WAY!!!" Then my eyes got so huge they probably looked like soccer balls because I saw what he had gotten me...you'll never guess...it was a WII TOO!! Bwahahahahaha!! So my family knew what had happened from the beginning of this wonderful Christmas season and couldn't say anything, but they got a good laugh out of it that morning. :) It really was crazy. We both bought accessories off the internet that were used but in great condition so we picked out what we wanted to keep and are now selling the other wii with eight games and two controllers along with four wheels and a nunchuck. It turned out alright in the end because Jeremy bought me a sewing machine too, so instead of a wii, I got a sewing machine (which I have wanted for awhile) and he got the Wii. :) He loves it, he's like a little kid playing this thing and I love it!
So you know how New Years Eve is on Friday? Well, we wanted to go back down to Hurricane with our family but that's exactly two weeks from our due date and I'm thinking the doctor probably isn't going to tell us it's ok...our appointment is on Wednesday so we'll see, but Jeremy says he doesn't want to deliver a baby on the interstate so we ARE NOT going. I will continue to try my best to convince him, but so far, with this situation, even my "sad eyes look" won't budge him. :'( I told him that if a police officer could deliver a baby he could too, but I got kind of a dirty look with that comment so I won't try that one again. :s he he. he's a stubborn little stinker sometimes. Anyway, the rest of our family is also going down to Hurricane so we will be litttle loners up here. We decided that if we can't go down there, we are going to have a KaynJer New Years party with dutch oven potatoes, a nice juicy steak, and the Wii (thanks mom & dad for the dutch oven)...Actually, I was thinking that maybe our baby could decide to come New Years Eve and my parents would be forced to come up here to spend it with us ha ha, sadly, that is the only way we will be able to get them to come celebrate New Years with us up here since everyone is going down there. I've been talkin to our baby about it, I guess we will see what happens huh? ;) I will try to keep everyone updated...things are gettin close now. :)

My basketball. :)
Alright, the last belly picture I put up was when I was at 27 weeks! That was forever ago. I'm at 35 now, so I need to do some back-up posting for everyone since I don't see most of you very much...
So, here's me at 29 weeks
And then...35 weeks! Whoo! Look at that basketball! :)
Jeremy told me he never thought I would get this big, I don't know how to feel about that comment...ha ha. It's even better when I'm getting dressed and he says, "whoa, you're belly is big." I love him.
p.s.-only 4 1/2 weeks left...
Anyway, I wanted to put up a few more pictures...
Jeremy's aunt, Heather Jarvis, made these for our baby. Aren't they so ADORABLE?! I can't wait to put those little baby toes in these booties! :) I seriously think they are just the cutest thing ever.
Now for the nursery pics...if you can't tell, we did a lily pond theme with frogs, turtles, snails, bees, and cute little catterpillars. I really love how it turned out. The picture on the bottom shows the other half of the room. My parents bought us an awesome glider, rocking chair...thank you mom and dad!! :) I think it's going to be great for nursing. :)
And last but not least...our cradle.
I don't have sheets for it yet, but here it is. :)
I have to let you in on a little secret site that my mom and I found. It's called bonanza.com and there's a seller who goes by "mysillymonkeys" (you just put her name in the search box and it will pull up everything she sells). We bought a 17 piece nursery set for only $190 (with shipping)! That is an outrageous deal. Those of you who have been nursery shopping know that usually a nursery set comes with like four pieces for around $150 (sometimes more), but this lady sells boutique quality nursery sets for such a great price, I don't know how she does it. I love it, so I just wanted to share the happiness and let you know in case you ever need nursery stuff... :)
Ok, I have another funny story from the life of Kaylee and Jeremy. Jeremy and I don't buy T.V. because we don't really watch it that much, so when we want to watch something we just stream it off the internet from one of our laptops, anyway, one night a couple weeks ago we were watching Biggest Loser (I know, we're nerds) and the families were getting reunited after like four months or something. Well, I felt my eyes tearing up and I was like what the crap, this is ridiculous, I shouldn't be crying, it's just Biggest Loser...then I look over...and Jeremy's eyes were teary too!! Bwahahahaha! I was like, "are you crying?" And he said, "No!" So I just chuckled to myself because I knew what was goin on. Then I looked over and I saw him wipe his eye! I have teased him mercilessly the past couple days about it, to tell you the truth though, I absolutely love it that he is such a sweetie. He takes way good care of me and he has a little tender spot in that manly heart of his that I hope will always be there...anyway, I tell him he's having pregnancy sympathy (I think it's really true because yesterday at church I told him my fingers were a little swollen and then an hour later he couldn't get his ring off because his fingers were swollen too). He thinks it's a ridiculous idea but I know it's happening. :) Ha ha my husband is so funny. :)

The past month. :)
I need to do some serious updating!! First of all, Thanksgiving was a blast. I love the holidays. :) I am now addicted to my sister-in-law Marisa's pomegranet marshmallow salad stuff, it's so so so delicious (I crave it everyday now). I just decided that I'm going to put the recipe on here so you can try it too. :)
Second of all, Jeremy's unit had a Christmas party and that was really fun too, I finally got to meet some of his good friends which was nice...you could totally tell that it was planned by a group of men...they had a "snowball fight" where they were throwing those gigantic oversized marshmallows down a hallway at each other like dodgeball! I hid. Just like in gym class. :) There was no way in crap I was getting in a game with a bunch of army men chucking huge objects at each other, their arms are about five times the size of mine and at the moment...I've got more to hit (my belly pokes out like a basketball is duct taped to the front of me) it was pretty intense. We also watched Elf which I loved mostly because it made Jeremy laugh...not chuckle, laugh. If you know Jeremy, you know that he "chuckles" or like half laughs or whatever you want to call it all the time, it takes something extrememly funny to make him laugh out loud and I absolutely love it when it happens!
And third of all, at our last doctor's appointment I was dilated to 1.5 centimeters and 50 percent effaced. Hooollllyyyy cooww. I was so surprised! So was Jeremy by the look on his face. :) I know, I know, a woman can walk around dilated to a three for a month blah blah blah, I realize that...but I don't care! :) It's so fun to know that things are getting ready and progressing, I don't care how fast or slow, it's still exciting! :) I'm not in any hurry to have this baby, although it would be nice if I could sleep at night but I guess that won't be happening for like a year and I'm okay with that, it's worth it right? I love love love feeling our little baby wiggling and kicking (except when he/she jabs me in the ribs). One secret I'm going to share with everyone is that I weigh more than I've ever weighed in my life!! Ah!! It's hard to get used to being "ok" with weight gain during pregnancy, it was for me anyway. I have gained about 18 pounds so far (I'm at 34 weeks this week) which the doctor says is great! It's still weird though. Anyway, our nursery is ready, we have our cradle, and we have our stroller and car seat, so all of our big purchases are finished. We only have a few little things left on our list to do before our baby comes...I'm going to post pictures of everything because I think it's just so fun. :)
