Ok, so I have to give a little pre-info for this story to make sense...Jeremy was at AT for two weeks (annual training for those of you who don't know what that means). So, he was around a bunch of army dudes who swear after every other word and use the F word in every sentence at least, people use it for everything, it's ridiculous. He is used to it and most of the time, once they learn that he doesn't swear, they try not to in front of him. But still, he was around a LOT of swearing for an entire two weeks. THEN, he went straight to a 10-week training, which is what he's doing right now, and there's still swearing all over the place, ha ha. I can tell being away from home and around a bunch of guys for that long affects him a little, when he gets home he calls me dude on accident and things like that, but he has never sworn, ha ha...on to the story.
I just can't stop laughing about this.
So, yesterday we were getting ready for dinner...setting the table and warming up the leftovers...and Bridger was saying he didn't want to eat (he's been sick and hasn't eaten anything for like a week! It's freaking us out). We have to be really careful about what we say now because he understands everything, especially when it relates to the snacks he loves so we have started having to spell things out sometimes...
*Remember, he had just gotten back from AT...
Jeremy: What is he going to eat, then?
Me: I don't know.
Jeremy: Should I get him some F-snacks?
Me: F-snacks??! What??
Jeremy: What? (with a face of innocence)
Me: Babe, that is not appropriate. BEEP snacks??
Jeremy: Fruit snacks...I didn't want Bridge to know what I was talking about...
bahaha.
I totally thought the F was a swearword. Leave it to me to jump to conclusions. Jeremy was just laughing.
I even started to tell him he had been at AT too long! ha ha. My poor husband, we were both on totally different trains of thought. People he is around totally would use it like that though, they just throw it in even if it doesn't really fit, they just say it to say it...if that makes sense?
We've been calling them F snacks now. That's terrible.
How's that for an uplifting Sunday post? ;) ha ha.

1 Month Old! :)
Well, Beckham is one month. :)
Here's my big boy...
Here's my big boy...
He is so cute. I just want to kiss him.
The first thing I have to say is that this little guy loves to eat and cuddle. That's all he wants to do! He will only sleep for like 15 minutes unless I'm holding him or laying right next to him...I love it but it's hard to get anything done. ha ha. :) He has been starting to fight sleep the past week, so when he gets fussy we walk him around the house, he likes to look over the back of my shoulder. Bridger was like that too, except he liked to be held facing out instead. Two little cuties. He nurses like a champ...his birth weight was 7lbs even and be 2.5 weeks he was 9 lbs! I'm guessing he's over ten pounds now. :) His little thighs are getting so cute and chubby, my babies thigh rolls are one of my favorite things ever. He has been a pretty good little guy, but I'm hesitant to say anything since he's only like five weeks old, ha ha. I remember saying that about Bridger and then he got super colicky for like months. Beckham started smiling a couple weeks ago, but just these past few days I have seen SO many, I love it! He's also been using his little voice to talk more the past week. :)
Grandma Brown and Beckham cuddling. :)
First bath, whoo!! :) He loved it! But he didn't like the ones after this for some reason. ha ha.
Yummy lips...
I just love how tiny he is. :)
My boys playing on the floor. :)
Huge binky. ha ha.
Bridger has been doing pretty well with Beckham, he had a rough few days a couple weeks ago when Jeremy was at AT, but I think he has been doing awesome considering how many changes have been happening in the past few months, especially this one! Now when he wakes up in the morning I open his door and the first thing he says is "see bee, see bee" his short way of saying see baby. :) It makes me happy. He always wants to rub his nose with his nose and rub his hair, and look straight into his eyes right in front of his face, ha ha. It's so cute. But this last week he got sick with some sort of cough and now he doesn't understand why I don't want him to do any of that. :l Hopefully, Beckham doesn't get it, I've been using our oils like crazy to get rid of it.
The past month was super crazy, and super fast. Beckham was born at the end of May and my parents stayed for about a week, and Jeremy had ten days off work...it just so happened that right when his ten days ended he went straight to AT where he couldn't come home at night or be home during the day at all until the end of the second week, so my mom came back up and stayed with me for two weeks. So, I pretty much had someone to help me for a whole month! Then...during AT Jeremy got a call from his unit asking if he would go to school NOW instead of in January, we decided that we wanted to do that instead, so as soon as AT ended Jeremy took one day off work then went straight to a ten week military training course! whew. His school goes from 7 in the morning to 7 at night for the first half, then from 7 to midnight! Ah. I'm basically a single parent for the next three months, I'm just grateful it's at Camp Williams so he can come home at all. He might still go to the other course next year, but it's in Texas and is four months long. We'll see...we have some decisions to make I guess.
AND I wanted to throw in a few pictures from Father's Day!
It was a pretty chill Father's Day, Jeremy got to come home for a few hours and he played with Bridger in his little pool while my mom and I laid out, then we had dinner and opened presents before we had an awesome chocolate dessert and he had to leave. :) I totally spaced getting pictures of them in the pool, so I'll have to do that next time I guess. I sure love my husband, though. Forever. He is so sweet to me, all the time. He is so devoted to our family, I know we come first in his life and that makes me so happy. He makes me cookies when I'm sad, reminds me I'm beautiful when it sure doesn't feel like it, and makes me laugh like no one else can. I love him. I love him even more when I see how much he loves our boys. First thing when he comes home, he gives me a kiss, then plays with Bridger and kisses Beckham. I could go on all day about him, he's just amazing and I'm so grateful for him. :)
I know this post is already super long, but I had to add this in. So, I was doing really good about not being all crazy emotional after I had Beckham until he was eleven days old. Something happened to upset me that I felt was a pretty big deal and I just couldn't get over it, I had to figure it out and I was totally stressed, plus, I knew our little "vacation" was almost over...Jeremy was supposed to leave the next day for two weeks. Anyway, I could NOT stop crying. I was getting so frustrated! ha ha. Every time I looked at Jeremy I just started sobbing, then I realized how big Beckham was getting and started crying some more, then started thinking about that "issue" that had come up and starting crying even MORE. Yeah. Crazy day.
Jeremy had absolutely no idea how to handle me. He just kept looking at me weird and asked why I was crying again. Then I would start to cry again! I really had like no control over my tear ducts, it was so strange. ha ha. My poor husband. After a few hours of this he started getting a little stressed out and Jeremy is the type to just try to fix the problem...well, the problem couldn't really be fixed at the point so instead...
He said he would make me some cookies.
He seemed to think that cookies would make me stop crying.
Baha. How cute is that?
I didn't even want cookies...but I didn't tell him that, ha ha, I just cried some more. :)
So he baked them up (he is like a master cookie baker, seriously, I don't make cookies anymore cause he's so good), aaaannnnnnddddddd...I ate them. :) yum.
Anyway, he's a sweetie pie. I can't get enough of him. :)

Newborn Pics. :)
It is quite the experience to try and get newborn pictures. Really. Maybe it's just my babies that don't like to be put down, but with both Bridger and Beckham it took forever to start getting pictures. Good thing I love them. ;)
We had two awesome photographers take our pictures within ten days after Beckham was born, these are from the first session that we did when he was 6 days old. We paid Callie Hobbs, a photographer from here in Northern Utah, to take them for us and we love them! Beckham didn't really want to be put down to take pics, he is the cuddliest little guy...and Bridger was definitely not in the mood, but we still ended up getting some really cute ones. :)

He is so blonde! I think his hair color will be like mine. :) I love his cute little soft, blonde fuzz.
My cute boys. :) Love them.
And I must say, I could kiss these little toes all day.
One of my favorites. :)
He's passed out. :)
The second session we did was when he was ten days old, and he still didn't want to be put down. :) But I think we got some more cute ones! We have an awesome friend, Chelsey Prescott, who offered to take these pictures for us and I just couldn't pass on it, I'm so glad we didn't. She is starting her photography business and had so many cute ideas, it was so fun! :)
Don't worry, he isn't really hanging on that branch, ha ha.
Two different styles of photography...I love them both! :)
Beckham will be one month old on Saturday! This past month has flown by. I cannot believe he's already been here for almost four weeks! But I'll save my freak out until I get his one month post up. ;) ha ha.
