Here are a few pictures of us setting up our tree...surprisingly, Jeremy was the one who pulled everything out and decorated this year! He's amazing. I love him.
We have this tradition that while we decorate the tree we all have to wear Santa hats, we need to get more now that Benson has joined our family! By the way, it was so hard to get a family picture. lol.
Jeremy won these socks as a white elephant gift. LOL.
We made homemade caramels for the first time this year! It was quite the experience, but they turned out amazing and we've decided to make that a tradition. :)
Our first gingerbread house!! This was fun to make with the boys, but we did buy a kit. LOL. It was already pre-put together, we got to frost it and decorate it. :)
We had to be super patient to open presents this year, we had church at 9 in the morning! It was nice to have church on Sunday, to remember why we celebrate this special day, so for that I was grateful and I wanted to go, but Bridger ended up sleeping until almost 10 in the morning! I stayed home with him and Benson while everyone else went. When everyone got home we changed clothes and opened presents, then went to Jeremy's family for some more celebrating!
Some pictures of Christmas day with the Brown's...!
These boys were so happy to FINALLY get to open presents after church!
He was not sure about this unwrapping business, but he loved his new toys!
My long awaited curtains!
New slippers that he LOVES.
Christmas with the Jarvis family...!
We came home for New Years so that my sister wouldn't be alone on New Years Eve. On Friday Jeremy and I went to a sealing for his cousin and his wife, then we went to visit our Grandma Lenore, then to a reception that night, it was busy! Saturday we spent the day at home, building our boys' new rc Lego trains and other Lego sets. We had a tasty roast in the crockpot all day, and that night we made french dips and had some delicious snacks while we played Settlers of Catan until a few minutes before midnight, then we had a countdown and drank sparkling cider! Happy new year!! :)
