Earlier in the week we carved pumpkins and decorated Halloween cookies with Grandma and Grandpa Brown and Brianna, which was fun! The boys loved it!
We went for a walk Halloween morning and the river trail was gorgeous. The weather was beautiful and there were SO many leaves. The boys loved it. We stopped at one point to get some pictures, and then we started doing slow motion videos on my phone of them throwing leaves and they thought it was hilarious. Then we came home and did a Halloween craft and made paper bag monsters with finger-paints. After we had Halloween lunch with monster pizzas. :) It was such a fun day.
This walk was earlier in the week...Bridger rode his bike on the river trail for the first time!
Bridger and Beckham have been way into LEGO Ninjago lately, so they wanted to be Kai and Jay. They could. not. wait. to put their costumes on and wanted to play with them so bad before Halloween, but I wouldn't let them until after.
The rest of our family dressed up as characters from Toy Story. Benson was Buzz Lightyear, Anderson was Woody, I was the Jessie, and Jeremy was a Pizza Planet delivery guy. We got a lot of compliments and it was fun to dress up together. :)
We stayed in our neighborhood for Halloween this year, and our kids got a TON of candy. sheesh. I'm talking like full size candy bars. Our neighborhood is just so nice. lol. Also, it was SO cold!! I'm glad we had relatively warm costumes this year, everyone wore layers underneath. Brianna joined us for trick or treating, too! Everyone got tired because we walked down so many streets, but it was fun getting to know the neighborhood better. It was a blast!! :)
