1 Month! :)

Little Anderson is 1 month already!! At his two day appointment he had gone from 8 lbs 10 oz at birth to 8 lbs 1 oz, so his doctor was a little concerned, but by his two week appointment he was at 9 lbs 10 oz and had grown an inch! Usually, by two weeks they just want to see that baby has gotten back to their birth weight, he was a pound heavier! lol. He was impressed. Also at his two day appointment he looked like he had a little jaundice, we decided to go ahead and test it but his blood clotted too fast and they said they needed to re-do it, but we decided not to. We felt like the jaundice went away pretty fast, by the next day his coloring was great.

He is such a sweet baby, he is SO snuggly. He loves to be in the Solly wrap, right next to me, and I love it too. :) When he was ten days old we felt like it was time to sell our house, so he has been in the wrap with me a lot so that I can still be close to him and keep him happy, and get the house ready. He doesn't love the swing so far, he would rather be in the wrap with me, he sleeps SO good in the wrap.

• We saw our first real smiles around 3-4 weeks, little grins, mostly. 
• He has been able to hold his head really good even right after he was born.
• He has been nursing really good, like with our other babies he chokes a lot because my let-down is so fast, but he's getting better at keeping up with it the bigger he gets. :) We nurse laying down 95% of the time, he can nurse better that way. 
• His umbilical cord fell off a little early from accidental tugging, so it took a little longer to close up, he didn't get his first bath until around 3.5-4 weeks old. Up to then I would lay him on a fluffy towel next to the sink and give him a washcloth bath, he loved them! 
• I love to play with all of his tiny, black hair. He has the most of any of our kids so far and I love it. 
• He is the noisiest little sleeper. He will be in my arms or in my wrap and he just makes all these tiny sounds all the time, it's adorable. 
• He sleeps with me at night, and from the day he was born he would sleep at night pretty good. I had to wake him up the first two weeks to eat at night because he would just keep sleeping. Now that we are on more of a feeding schedule (sort of, lol) he usually nurses around 1030-1130 PM, then goes 3.5-4.5 hours, then nurses 2-3 hours later until we wake up. I would say during the day he nurses about every 1.5-2 hours. 
• He is so chubby, he has all of these tasty, tiny rolls that I love!! He grew out of his newborn clothes at like 1 week old, at 4 weeks his 0-3 months clothes are getting snug! lol.
